Jaime thought they were going out for her birthday. She and Monty got all dressed up and spent the evening around downtown Austin, Texas enjoying each other’s company along with the food and festivities when Monty suggested they head over to The Long Center and sit and watch the skyline as the night was winding down.
When they arrived at the overlook, Monty told Jaime it was time for her gift. “Is it you?” she asked. “Yes, forever.” he said as he pulled out a ring and got down on one knee.
One warm spring evening, we headed back down to the very spot of that proposal and wandered around parks and trails nearby just talking about love and marriage and enjoying the sunset.
